Information you provide

You may provide information when you email us, report a problem, submit feedback, or otherwise contact Player Value Labs. This can include your name, email address, message, and any information you choose to include.

PVL does not currently offer public user accounts or paid subscriptions. This policy will be updated before those features collect additional account or payment information.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, hosting, security, analytics, or advertising providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, interactions, and diagnostic data.

PVL also stores limited information on your device to remember choices and maintain site features. This can include theme preference, daily game status, game history, an anonymous community-trade identifier, and other local settings. Google and its consent platform may separately store consent records and related privacy choices.

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary storage supports site security, preferences, consent records, game functionality, the one-trade-per-day submission limit, and daily voting. Optional analytics technologies help measure site usage and performance. Optional advertising technologies may be used to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure ads.

Where required, Google’s certified consent management platform presents privacy choices for advertising and related technologies. You can reopen those controls through Cookie Settings in the footer or Settings page. Necessary storage used for PVL features is not controlled by the advertising-consent message.

Advertising and analytics providers

PVL may use Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or related Google services. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, device information, and activity data to provide and measure services, subject to your choices and applicable law. Google explains its advertising technology practices in its Advertising Privacy & Terms materials.

Additional providers may be added as the site develops. This policy will be updated when a new provider materially changes how information is handled.

How information is used

Information may be used to:

• Operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
• Remember settings and provide daily games and interactive features.
• Understand traffic, performance, and feature usage.
• Display and measure advertising after it is enabled.
• Respond to messages, enforce site terms, and comply with legal obligations.

How information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or monetize the site; with professional advisers; when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety; or as part of a sale, merger, financing, or transfer of the site or its assets.

PVL does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define personalized advertising as a sale or sharing of information. Where applicable, Google’s certified privacy message provides consent or opt-out controls for advertising-related processing.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Submitted trade packages may remain visible as part of the recent or featured trade feeds. Daily vote totals and daily submission-limit records expire or reset on a short schedule. Local game data and preferences remain on your device until the site or your browser removes them.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, network, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Children's privacy

Player Value Labs is a general-audience baseball site and is not directed to children under 13. PVL does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. You may also manage applicable advertising and cookie choices through Google’s privacy controls and your browser settings.

To make a privacy request, email the address below. We may need to verify the request before responding. Authorized agents should provide proof of authority where required.

International visitors

PVL is operated in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised as the site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top will be changed when a revision is published.
